ABERDEEN - Services for
Robert Ellis (Bobby) White, 76, who died Monday at his residence,
will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, August 12th, at First United
Methodist church with Revs. Larry Maugh and Truman Thompson
officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
Mr. White was born in Dorsey, Mississippi to Sam Ellis White and Earleen
Rutledge White. He was the retired owner of White Oil Company, Inc.
of Aberdeen and Tupelo and was a member of First United Methodist
Church in Aberdeen for 66 years. He was a graduate of Aberdeen High
School.
He leaves his wife, Lois Reed White of Aberdeen; two sons, Robert Ellis
(Butch) White, Jr. and wife, Lori, of Aberdeen and George Barry
White and wife, Angela, of West Point; six grandchildren, Robert
Ellis (Wes) White, III, Lindsey Reed White, Larkin Christine White,
George Barry White, Jr., Ally Knowles and William Knowles. He
was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Jurney Ballard; three
brothers, Sam White, Earl White and Victor White.
