JOHN  WAYNE  WEST

  ABERDEEN - A graveside service for John Wayne West, 71, who died Friday, January 27th at Homeplace of Columbus, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29th at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Bro. Robert Moore officiating.

  Mr. West was born in Monroe County to Johnnie and Hazel Coleman West. He was a lifelong resident of the Lackey Community and a member of  Hamilton Baptist Church.

   He leaves six sisters, Sylvia W. Love of Starkville, Sarah W. Bryan and husband, Butch, of Hamilton, Lynda W. Mize and husband, Jerry, of West Point, Susan E. Honeycutt and husband, Dean, of Hamilton, Julia W. Sullivan and husband, Lesley, of Aberdeen and Cynthia W. Simpson of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Wade West of Hamilton and Rubel West and wife, Tanya, of Aberdeen.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Peggy, Nancy, anbd Marilyn West.

  Pallbearers will be Anthony Bryan, Jason Sullivan, Josh West, Jonathan Honeycutt, Jeremy Honeycutt, Owen Mize, and Will Mize.

  Visitation will be from 12-noon until 1:30 p.m., Sunday, January 29th at the funeral home.

Sylvia, Sarah, Wade, Linda, Susan, Judy, Cynthia and Ruble, I am so very sorry to hear about Wayne, but I am grateful that he is not struggling any longer. I love you all and am very sorry that I cannot be there for the funeral.
