LAURA   SUTTON

   HAMILTON - Services for Laura Wayne Smithson Sutton, 92, who died Sunday, August 1st at Darlington Oaks Community Hospice in Verona, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 3 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial-Aberdeen chapel with Bro. Robert Moore officiating. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
  Mrs. Sutton was born in Monroe County to Cyris Hogue and Hester Coleman Smithson. She was a lifelong resident of the county, a homemaker and retired seamstress for Hamilton Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Sulphur Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
  She leaves three daughters, Betty Owens of Hamilton, Mildred Murff and husband, Doug, of Aberdeen and Nancy Seely and husband, Hughie, of Hamilton; two sons, Charles Sutton  and wife, Christine, and John Sutton and wife, Ruth Ann, all of Hamilton; two sisters, Doris Evelyn Parks and Ouida Flowers, both of Kolola Springs; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and four great great crandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Sutton, Sr., a daughter, Hilda Sutton Smith; two sons, Thomas Wayne Sutton and Randy Sutton; a grandson, Darrel Allen Owens; two great grandsons, Chad Linley and Joshua Sutton; two brothers, three sisters and three sons-in-law.
  Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
  Visitation will take place from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 2nd at the funeral home.
