BALDWYN -   Calvin Doyle Skelton, 84, died Friday, July 7th to Elzie Lee and Clara Webb Skelton. He had lived most all of his life in Lee County, was a retired painter for Cook and Riley, Inc. in Tupelo, and was a member of Living Waters Community Church in Eggville. He enjoyed playing men's softball,  fishing and painting.
  Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with the Rev. William Whitmon officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
  Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frankie M. Lewis Skelton of Baldwyn; three daughters, Deb Kidd (Gerald) of Baldwyn, Brenda Denton (David) of Algoma, & Patricia Priest (Tony) of Houlka; two sons, Jimmy Skelton (Ceretha) of New Albany and Larry Skelton (Pat) of Thaxton; 16 grandchildren, Angela, Chris, Andrew, Matt, Nicole, Amanda, Johnathan, Ashley, Lacy, Brandon, Michael, Shea, William, Blake, Angel, Jeremy; 33 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Terry Wayne Skelton and Carol Doyle Skelton; 2 Skelton girls; 1 sister, Lorene McCall; 3 brothers. Jessie, Billy, & Curly Skelton.
  Pallbearers will be Andrew Denton, Matt Denton, Chris Kennedy, Hunter Whitlow, Michael Stewart, Sammy Ray Seymore (representing his softball team).
  Honorary pallbearers will be David Denton, Tony Priest, Gerald Kidd, employees of New Albany Health & Rehab & Southern Care Hospice.
  Visitation will be Saturday  from 5 to 8 p.m.. at the funeral home.
