HAMILTON - Graveside service for Shirley Miller Pounders, 64, who died Saturday, Dec. 31st at her residence, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 2nd at McDuffa Cemetery with Ray Ingulia officiating.
  Mrs. Pounders was born in Quitman County to Robert Hugh and Gatha Faye Brown Miller. She lived most of her life in Monroe County and had been a resident of Hamilton since 1965. She was a beautician.
  She leaves her husband, Jesse Pounders of Hamilton; a son, Jesse Jerome Pounders and wife Gena of Hamilton; three sisters, Bernice Jones of Amory, Helois Perkins and husband Clayton of Batesville and Faye Cook and husband Rubel of Nettleton; a brother, George Miller of Pearl; two grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah.
  She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Carl Miller, Boyce Miller, Billy Miller and Carlton Miller.
  Pallbearers will be staff of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home.
  Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 2nd from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy.
