TOMMIE  MILLER

 ABERDEEN - Services for Tommie Jean Shaw Miller, 82, who died Friday, Dec. 30th at The Meadows in Fulton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2nd in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Aberdeen Chapel with Rev. Roy McKay officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery.
  Mrs. Miller was born in Cuba, Alabama to Evan and Irene Walker Shaw. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen and retired as a registered nurse from Gilmore Memorial Hospital and the nursing home in Amory. She earned her RN degree at Rush Memorial Hospital and Nursing School in New Orleans. She was a member of First Baptist Church  in Aberdeen.
  She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann  Hanks and husband Jim of Port Gibson, Mississippi; a son, Terry Miller and wife Mary Ann of Fulton; four sisters, Mattie Timmerman of Milton, Florida, Nettie Brown of Gordo, Alabama, Inez Moilan of El Paso, Texas and Earnest McCrary of Moundville, Alabama;  two brothers, James Russell Shaw and wife Jimmie of Gordo, Alabama  and Joe Shaw and wife Betty of Moundville, Alabama; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Grady Miller, and a brother, William  Rebel Shaw.
   Pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church and Mike Bunch.
   Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 2nd from 12-Noon until service time at the funeral home.

   I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness.  2 Timothy 4:7-8.
