NETTLETON - Services for
Earlon Lamar Harrison, 87, who died Wednesday, August 4th at Gilmore
Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, will be held at 10:00
a.m., Friday, August 6th, in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial-Nettleton
Chapel with Revs. Ricky Jones and Tim Barber officiating. Burial
will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Mr. Harrison was born in Calhoun County to Arthur Roscoe and Mimey Lou
Lindsey Harrison. He was a lifelong resident of Nettleton, a retired
painter and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He enjoyed
working in his garden and fishing.
He leaves three daughters, Earnestine Edwards of Pontotoc, Frances Louise
Hall of Tupelo and Teresa Green (Bobby) of Fulton; two sons, Johnny
Harrison and Ricky Harrison (Lisa), all of Columbus; a sister, Mary
Harrison McKnight (James) of Pontotoc; a brother, Tommy Harrison of
Vernon, Alabama, sixteen grandchildren, Mitch Harrison, Patrick
Caldwell, Judith Naden, Tracy Baulch, John Hall, IV, Joe M. Hall,
Martha Phillips, Bobby Green, Brandon Green, Patricia Edwards, Terry
Edwards, Gary Edwards, Scott Harrington, Jacob Matthew, Justin
McRay, Katie Harrison, and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Totsie Mae Renfro Harrison; his
parents; a son, Early Wayne Harrison, and a grandson, Timothy Lamar
Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Harrison, Patrick Caldwell, Terry Edwards, Joe
Hall, Josh Hester, and Jacob Matthews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Edwards, John Hall, Bobby Green, Brad
Naden, David Baulch and Bryan Phillips.
