NETTLETON - A memorial
graveside servce for Linda Adams Hanna,
59, who died Thursday, August 19th at Cedar Ridge Apartments in
Shannon following an extended illness, will be held at 10:00 a.m.,
Saturday, August 21, at Gray's Cemetery with Rev. Danny Horton
officiating.
Ms. Hanna was born in Lee County to Walter E. and Louise Wheatley Adams.
A native of Nettleton, she had resided in Shannon for the past four
years. She was a waitress, a Baptist, and served four years in the
U.S. Marine Corps. She loved to dance and was a collector of eagle
replicas.
She leaves a son, Billy Ray Hanna (Misty) of Ecru; a sister, Sheila Adams
Wren of Nettleton; four brothers, Walters E. Adams, Jr. (Yvonne) of
Arizona, Roy Adams of Nettleton, Jesse Adams (Sheila) of
Albertsville, Alabama and Nicky Adams (Cathy) of Pearl; four
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.s
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Michael Wayne
Scott.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive
visitors after the graveside service at Sheila Wren's residence, 121
Peoploungers Road, Nettleton, MS 38858.
