Hendrix Culver, 92, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017, at
Diversicare of Tupelo after an extended illness. She was
born on May 7, 1925 in Lee County to Oscar W. and
E. Monaghan Hendrix. She was a native of Lee County, a
retired inspector for Roasati Clothing Manafacturers in
Tupelo, and was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church in
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at
the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in
Nettleton with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will
be in Gray's Cemetery.
Survivors include his nephew, Earnest Gene Hendrix of
Nettleton; a special friend, Carolyn Hester of Amory; & a
special pet, "Benji"; a special thank you to the
administration and the staff of Diversicare of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter,
Yvonne Culver Norton; the father of her child, Bud Culver;
two sisters, Mary Lou Hendrix Feltman and Garon Hendrix;
five brothers, Gene Hendrix, Bill Hendrix, Bo Hendrix,
Donald Hendrix, & an infant Child; a special friend, Gilbert
Pallbearers will be Earnest Hendrix, John Hall, Roy
Randolph, & Eddie Reed.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 Noon until time for
services, at the funeral home.
