Rev. Wade Cook
SMITHVILLE -   Rev. Wade Cook, 84, passed away on Monday, June 11th at Diversicare of Amory. He was born on December 20, 1933 in Aberdeen to Conner and Irene Smith Cook. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, a retired Baptist minister and agent for Mutual Savings Life Insurance, and member of Faith Baptist Church in Amory.
  Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with the Rev. Chuck Moffett officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
  Survivors include one son, Kenneth Cook of Smithville; three grandchildren, Kendyll, Murff, & Kaci Cook; three great grandchildren, Memorie Easterling, Peyton, & Abbilyn Cook.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Cook, his parents; one son, Murff Cook; & five brothers.
  His family will serve as pallbearers.
  Visitation will be Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for your loss. I attended Prairie Baptist Church where Brother Wade was the pastor. I remember all of his family they were very nice to us. I will be praying for you all.
